Camino Ghosts

A wonderfully intelligent escape, told in true Grisham style! A story about Dark Isle, a sliver of an island off of Florida’s cost where freed slaves settled 300 years ago. Lovely Jackson, who is elderly now, was it’s last inhabitant and was forced to leave in 1955.  Now a developer wants to develop the island, and Lovely knows it is rightfully hers. The suspense builds like a crescendo; and has all the elements of a Grisham novel including mystery, thriller, historical relevance, and juicy legal drama. While this book stands on its own; I am now looking forward to reading the other books in the series! ~ Christine
