  Ann Patchett once again delivers a brilliant novel! Tom Lake is the story of a woman Lara who decides to share the story of her youthful love affair with her three adult daughters; as they find themselves isolated together on a cherry Farm in Michigan, during the pandemic.  The novel is told through artfully, intelligently written dialogue. Youthful love, married love and growing up, are the theme, as this book cuts to the core of what matters in life.  What an absolute joy to read!  ~ Christine
